These mazes come with closely associated words. Some of the mazes come with what I call parallel words. From the moment of conception, these mazes were envisioned to be presented with words. I refer to the other writing as retrospective words. I was compelled to write these words well after the maze was designed. The process of writing the retrospective words gave birth to my schema of maze categories. As the maze categories take deeper root in my mind, I imagine the maze categories will increasingly structure my writing on mazes.
